The Role
As a Children's Support Worker, you will:
- Provide care and support tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational activities.
- Build trusting relationships to foster emotional well-being and confidence.
- Promote independence and life skills through engaging and meaningful activities.
- Support children in managing their emotions and behaviors positively.
- Ensure all care meets CQC standards and adheres to safeguarding protocols.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years UK experience working with children and young people
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- An enhanced Adult and Child DBS that is registered on the update service
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or must be willing to work towards one
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
