Children's Domiciliary Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality, person centred care to children with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, autism, and complex medical conditions.
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, feeding, and mobility support where required.
  • Support children with social activities, education and community participation to enhance their independence
  • Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and multi disciplinary teams to deliver tailored care plans
  • Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of the children in your care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with CQC regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • Experience in Domiciliary Care, Children's Support work, or a similar role
  • A level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent. If not must be willing to work towards one
  • Understanding of Child Safeguarding and the ability to implement safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
  • Must have an Enhanced Adult and Child DBS that is registered on the update service or must be willing to process one with us
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months UK experience
