Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality, person centred care to children with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, autism, and complex medical conditions.
- Assist with personal care, medication administration, feeding, and mobility support where required.
- Support children with social activities, education and community participation to enhance their independence
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and multi disciplinary teams to deliver tailored care plans
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of the children in your care
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with CQC regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Experience in Domiciliary Care, Children's Support work, or a similar role
- A level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent. If not must be willing to work towards one
- Understanding of Child Safeguarding and the ability to implement safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Must have an Enhanced Adult and Child DBS that is registered on the update service or must be willing to process one with us
- Must have a minimum of 6 months UK experience
