We are looking for compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Adults Domiciliary Support Workers to join our growing team. This role involves providing personal, social and emotional care to adults, supporting their independence and promoting their overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to adults with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, dementia and complex medical conditions
- Assist with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and mobility support where required
- Support adults with social activities, employment, education and community participation to enhance their independence
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver tailored care plans
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of the adults in your care
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with CQC regulations and company policies
- Respond to emergencies and provide emotional support as required
Requirements:
- Experience in Domiciliary Care, Adult Support Work or a similar role
- A level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
- Understanding of adult safeguarding and the ability to implement safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Must have an enhanced Adult and Child DBS that is registered on the update service or must be willing to process one through Banquo
- A minimum of 6 months UK based experience working in the care sector
